When we started DRC a year ago, we set out to promote and celebrate the sport of drag racing in Europe. Although our coverage so far has been predominantly UK based, we’ve at least made a start! 

We recently met with the management team at Santa Pod, who have been thinking about producing their own online magazine for some years. It made complete sense for us to join forces, because by combining our resources we will be able to do what we’ve always done, but better! So, from now on we’ll be the official online magazine of Santa Pod Raceway.

We’d like to make it clear that DRC will continue to have an impartial editorial stance. Our aim, as before, will be to promote all of European drag racing, and that of course includes drag racing events at Shakespeare County Raceway and York Raceway in the UK.

In future we will produce a magazine on a monthly basis, publishing a new issue on the first Wednesday of each month. With unparalleled access to what goes on behind the scenes at Santa Pod, we’ll be bringing you some fascinating features over the coming months, along with exclusive competitions and a look at what the 2012 season has in store.
